Bloody Daddy Review: A Messy, But Entertaining Action Thriller
Bloody Daddy is a new action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor as a messed-up, tenacious man who faces off against cops and crime lords to save the one relationship that matters to him: his daughter. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Amy Aela, Ankur Bhatia, and Diana Penty.
The film opens with a bang, as Kapoor's character, Arjun, is shown in a bloody brawl with a group of thugs. It's clear from the start that Arjun is a man who doesn't take kindly to being messed with.
The film then flashes back to Arjun's childhood, where we learn that he was raised by a single mother who worked as a prostitute. This upbringing has left Arjun with a lot of anger and resentment, which he often takes out on those around him.
When Arjun's son is kidnapped, he is forced to confront his past and use his violent tendencies for good. He embarks on a dangerous journey to save his son, and along the way, he must face off against a corrupt police force and a ruthless crime lord.
Bloody Daddy is a messy film, but it's also an entertaining one. The action sequences are well-choreographed and the performances are all solid. Kapoor is particularly good as Arjun, bringing a lot of intensity and charisma to the role.
The film's biggest flaw is its script, which is full of clichés and plot holes. But if you can overlook these flaws, Bloody Daddy is a fun and action-packed ride.
Overall Rating: 3/5 Stars
Bloody Daddy is a messy, but entertaining action thriller. If you're looking for a film with plenty of action and violence, then this is one for you. But if you're looking for a film with a strong plot and well-developed characters, then you might be disappointed.
